The Happiest Place on Earth Is Getting More Expensive!

Last week, I visited Disneyland with my good friend. We each paid $ 127 for both theme parks, Disneyland park and Disney California Adventure. Parking was $16 and we had to park all the way towards the end of the lot because there were a lot of cars already packed before 10 o' clock in the morning. My friend and I walked all the way across the parking lot, went through Downtown Disney and by the time we get to the theme parks, we were almost out of breath in the heat.
We visited Disneyland park first for almost half of the day and had our lunch there. We spent almost $20 for a sandwich, chips, and a soda. The food was not that great but it was surely very expensive. Then, we spent our entire evening at Disney California Adventure.
Overall, my friend and I had a great time even though each ride had a 40-minute wait and everything was a bit pricy in there. Oh, well! What can I say? It's the happiest place on earth!

  1. I agree, "the happiest place on earth" is a bit expensive. About a year ago, I took my children there and I spent around $500.00. Even though we went during the week, my children had to wait in line for about an hour to get on a ride.

  2. Since I own a few shares of Disney stock, I say keep on spending. Ha.

Last year I got PAID to go to Disneyland. I was a guide for a group of Saudi high school students. If only I could get more gigs like that.

  3. I know I am going to sound like a scrooge, but I can't stand Disneyland. Not only are the prices ridiculous, I am not a fan of crowds or standing in looooooong lines for the cheap thrill of a 1 minute ride. I think Disneyland is so plastic and fake that it is actually one of the scariest places on earth.
